Position: Registered Nurse

Department: Emergency Department
Hours: Full Time (Week-ends, evenings and nights required)
Summary: Assess the patient’s condition and nursing needs, sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals. Implements and documents elements of the nursing process in order to provide the highest quality of care based on assessed patient needs. Assists team members in giving care to patients or administers direct care when professional nursing skills and judgment are indicated.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited nursing program and currently licensed in the state of Kentucky. Emergency Department experience preferred. Must have successfully completed HRMC’s RN staff nurse orientation program. ACLS certification required within six (6) months and PALS certification required within one (1) year. TNCC, EMT/P or CEN certification preferred. Must be able to do heavy lifting, stand and walk for long periods.
