Prestonsburg – Highlands Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Terry Young, an employee in the Laboratory, has been named November’s Employee of the Month. Terry has been at HRMC for close to 3 years.
HRMC’s Director of Radiology, Melissa Biery, cited numerous traits consistently exhibited by Terry in his earning the honor. “Terry is a prime example of what courtesy, attitude, respect and enthusiasm is all about.”
“Terry Young works 12-hour shifts at night, but always comes to work ready to make an invaluable contribution,” Biery said. “His laboratory results are thorough and excellent, which impacts the efficiency of other departments within the hospital. The personnel in those departments routinely tell us how well Terry carries out his job.”
Biery went on to say that Terry maintains a “can-do attitude” reflected in his willingness to try new technologies for the hospital’s progress, and that “he adapts to any problems which may arise and overcomes them with absolute class.” “That’s the result of having care for the patients we serve as well as his co-workers. I am pleased that he has been named Employee of the Month.”
