Prestonsburg – Citing the need to make comprehensive healthcare more accessible to people throughout the Big Sandy region, Highlands Health System Manager of Properties, Neil Parsons, announced the progress of the construction of Archer Clinic in Prestonsburg at 400 University Drive. The facility is expected to be complete in early fall of 2010.
Archer Clinic will feature a wide array of healthcare resources. A Radiology Department will offer X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI services, an independent pharmacy for the filling of prescriptions, laboratory services, and commercial retail space.
Additionally, it will offer after-hour services and a host of physicians.
“We are thrilled to be able to expand the Highlands footprint for the benefit and well-being of people throughout the community,” Parsons said. “These fine physicians, surgeons and other healthcare professionals will be available to provide greater convenience and easier access to our patients. This state-of-the-art clinic further defines our commitment to exceptional healthcare.”
