Summary

Accountable for the planning, direction of nutritional care to patients, provides clinical nutritional care and counseling to patients. Participates in the Department’s Quality Improvement process. Integrates Mission and Vision of Department and Hospital into all aspect of Food and Nutrition Services.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nutrition. Must have or obtain Kentucky State Licensure within one (1) year of employment. Must be registered or registration eligible and a member of the American Dietetic Association. Two (2) years significant experience as a Staff Dietitian preferred. Must have knowledge of DNV Standards and Quality Assurance requirements. Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Strong oral and written communications required.
