RN / PICC / IV Therapy / FT
Manages individualized, goal–directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Manages the PICC line process related to patient assessment, catheter insertion, patient monitoring and education.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school. One year of experience preferred. Current license by the KY State Board of Nursing or Temporary Work Permit issued by KBN. Current BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and PALS within 1 year. NIHSS and PICC Certification within 1 year. Must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills. Successful completion of orientation / training and all mandatory competencies. Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing.
