Supervisor / Cath Lab / FT
The supervisor is responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital, nursing department, and cardiac catheterization laboratory and their effect on patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Graduate of accredited RN nursing program with current RN Kentucky license. Five years’ clinical experience, with two in cardiac catheterization preferred. Must have current BLS, ACLS, and IABP. Demonstrated clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice. Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency. Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills and the ability to deal well with people, problem solve, confront/resolve issues, motivate others, to plan, and organize and direct the activities of others. Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty areas is encouraged.
