POSITION
SUMMARY: |
Performs and coordinators the assembly of all ambulatory patient records for coding. Accountable for accurate and timely coding and conversion of diagnosis and procedures into ICD-9 and CPT 4 codes. Performs other duties as delegated. |

REQUIREMENTS: |
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Preferably an associate degree in business/medical field and emphasis in Medical terminology, pathology, anatomy and physiology. Classes in word processing. Prefer an individual who has passed national certification examination for an ART or Certified Coding Specialist.
