Opportunities exist for High School students to mentor a Health Care provider to gain knowledge in the field of interest. Students from Johnson Central High School along with the Martin County Area Technology Center Health Sciences programs take advantage of the opportunity for their students to shadow a healthcare provider in the hospital as part of their curriculum. Students from Prestonsburg High School have also been actively involved in the mentor program.
